The Burden is a script that I'm extremely passionate about getting made. I had only the 1st thirty pages written when Neo Art & Logic (The Prophecy Trilogy, Hellraiser) saw its potential and brought me in for 6 months to develop the script to completion. It is presently under option with a Los Angeles production company, being shopped for talent attachment and funding.

LOGLINE: A weathered, lowlife private investigator searches for a young girl and his only lead to finding her is her abductor who may have been driven insane by his own guardian angel.

Race for Rome (renamed from When In Rome) has placed highly in a few screenwriting contests here in LA and has been optioned and under a right-to-shop agreement with a LA production company. I'm still continuing my efforts to get it produced into a feature film.
RACE FOR ROME: ACTION / DRAMA
LOGLINE: An ex-extreme sports racer afflicted with tachophobia is forced to compete in deadly races thrown by a billionaire obsessed with ancient Rome’s ideals of entertainment.
SYNOPSIS: Joshua Stiles at one time was the number one extreme sports racer in the world. Whether racing motorcycles, snowmobiles or jet skis, he was singled out as the elite no other racer could surpass. Unfortunately, a tragic racing accident ended his career, destroying his future and leaving him terrified of high speeds. His best friend, Dale, also an extreme racer with a love for anything fast, expensive and dangerous, constantly pushes Joshua to return to his old life. Hiding his true intentions, Dale’s lavish life of high-rise apartments and top of the line sports cars are close to an end, if he doesn’t get Joshua back into racing and winning for his employer, William R. Gaylan, a billionaire throwing secret deadly races that has an addiction to the violent racing entertainment of ancient Rome.

Alecc Bracero approached me with an idea he had for a vampire film during the shooting of his 1st independent feature, Death and Cremation. He allowed me to completely rewrite his vision for the film, giving me the freedom to add a darker more dramatic feel to the story.
Our supernatural/drama spec., Bloodline, was recently finished and has a different take on the ton of vampire pictures we've seen, touching on an extremely serious and dark topic with vampires tossed into the mix for a nice twist.
BLOODLINE: SUPERNATURAL / DRAMA / THRILLER
LOGLINE: After being viciously attacked, a gothic teenager, struggling to live a normal life and hiding a terrifying secret, is forced to unleash what she truly is.
SYNOPSIS: Most never show who they truly are until something horrible happens... something horrible has happened. Lasila, a gothic teenager living with her adopted mother, Jane, who's stricken with cancer, exists as a loner in a small Midwest community. No one knows who she is and she speaks to no one. With very little memory of her past or where she's from, she struggles to live a normal and peaceful life, taking night classes in psychology at the local community college and drawing terrifying artwork to deal with her inner demons. One of which speaks to her from within her mind, enticing her to release what she hides within her. Her psychology professor, David Ennis, shows his concern for Lasila's personal and academic future, being the only person outside of Jane that seems to care for her. During a class, Lasila is approached by the first boy to ever notice her, Sky'lar Thane. Mysterious and rich, Sky'lar is the most beautiful boy Lasila has ever seen and his dark interests in her are soon revealed. Sky'lar, seeming intrigued by Lasila's disturbing artwork, takes Lasila's life in a direction that changes her future forever, introducing her to his world of the powerful, rich and privileged. But, Sky'lar's true face shows after setting Lasila up after an art gallery opening to be assaulted by his rich, male acquaintances, destroying who she's tried to be along with the happiness and love she's come to know. Lasila's life takes another horrible turn with the murder of Jane which she feels was done by the demon that no longer speaks within her head, but now talks to her from within the darkness around her. With her assault and the death of Jane overwhelming her, these events force Lasila to unleash a horrifying secret that she's struggled for years to keep hidden; a secret Sky'lar also wants her to embrace... the secret that she's a vampire.

Sons of Perdition is the 1st script I'd ever written. I've been working on it since 1999, having finished the 1st draft in January of 2000. Since then, I've put it through numerous rewrites and of course major corrections as I grew as a writer. I spent a year researching and writing it to the best of my ability at that time, but I knew it was far from the level of perfection where Hollywood would even consider it.
With my final draft near, I've strived for a level of realism (the type of realism I viewed in The Excorist) that I hope will come across to any and everyone who might be interested in reading it.

SONS OF PERDITION: SUPERNATURAL / THRILLER
LOGLINE: A small town homicide detective comes to the realization that the horrible miseries of his life may have been orchestrated by the Devil himself.
SYNOPSIS: How much misery can one man’s life endure? Johnathan Reed, a small town homicide detective, will begin to find out. During a storm unlike any other, two major events occur, starting the dark destiny that will become Johnathan’s life. A life-size black stone statue of a man wrapped in chains is unearthed, buried beneath the sands of a long forgotten island. And at the same moment, two identical baby boys are birthed into the world, one being Johnathan. Thirty-six years later, now a husband, father and praised detective, Johnathan’s life takes a turn for the worst when his adopted father is mutilated and murdered, along with his wife and young daughter all in the same night. Adding to the pain and horror he’s already enduring, evidence is found that he was the one who may have murdered his wife and child at the exact moment his father was being killed. With his previous happy life now spiraling out of control, the only person who comes to his aid to help him solve what is happening is an up and coming young detective, who isn't really what he appears to be, but is the only one who knows the true horrors that are still to come for Johnathan's life.
